Hayshire enjoyed an afternoon of Jay Smar's folk music and Fall Festival parties on October 20th.
The Ripples visited some classrooms as the Fall Festival classroom parties were going on and got in on the celebrations! Some of the teachers shared that they like this fun, special day and especially that everyone dresses in their country clothes. The teacher's favorite part of the day is doing the Chicken Dance at the assembly, painting pumpkins, and eating the adorable monster cookies. Our parent volunteers love to come in and help with the parties. One of the moms said she asks her son what he likes to do to come up with activities and another said Pinterest helps her decide on the activities. The students were busy enjoying activities like Racing the Spider and Bat and the Pumpkin Toss. But they really enjoyed the cookies! Who wouldn't enjoy this Fall tradition at Hayshire? |
